Yellow/Oolong Tea

Oolong may tea boosts metabolism, helping you burn fat faster. Its unique catechin (an antioxidant) and caffeine combination ignites your body’s fat-burning furnace and raises your metabolism for up to 2 hours after drinking it. Oolong tea is used to sharpen thinking skills and improve mental alertness, and may help treat obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, eczema and to boost the immunity system.

White Tea

All tea leaves originate from the same plant called, Camellia Sinensis. However, white tea is less processed than other forms of tea, therefore the polyphenols, a type of antioxidant, are extra potent. White tea contains ECGC, an antioxidant that prevents new fat cells from forming and fights signs of aging, like wrinkles. Research indicates that these benefits may protect against colon cancer and improve cardiovascular function while also contributing to antibacterial/antiviral properties.

Black Tea

Black tea has the highest caffeine content and may protect lungs from damage caused by air pollution and exposure to cigarette smoke. It also may reduce the risk of stroke. Studies show that polysaccharides in black tea have glucose-inhibiting properties – meaning that it may help to prevent diabetes. It is also known to decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease and is full of antioxidants.

Green Tea

This tea contains a phytonutrient called EGCG that increases the hormone CCK, which is responsible for creating the feeling of satiation. Green tea's high EGCG content also makes it an effective cancer fighter. Studies show that drinking green tea may potentially prevent the onset or slow the progression of dementia and lower the risk of developing heart disease and certain types of cancer. Green tea also boosts the metabolic rate and has a high content of flavonoids. Traditional steamed green teas retain very high contents of active nutrients. Matcha green tea is considered not a considered my many experts to be a super antioxidant but is also loaded with essential amino acids.

Green & Red/Rooibos Tea

This tea is naturally caffeine-free and contains powerful antioxidants, which helps the body fight free radicals. The
polyphenols in rooibos tea have anti-inflammatory properties, and may safeguard against heart disease. Several minerals— such as magnesium, calcium, manganese, and zinc—are found in rooibos tea as well. Additionally, some studies have shown that rooibos
blends may improve circulation, relieve stomach complaints, aid in the absorption of iron, relieve skin conditions, protect against Parkinsons/Alzheimers disease and encourage restful sleep.
